  • Do not waste your money and time at this UPS Store. It's worth traveling to another nearby location! Rude service, sloppy work, poor quality tools/supplies used for packaging. Welcomed greeting upon entering store. But when I requested only packaging no shipping, their attitude changed to one of annoyance. From my standpoint, I saw 2 people quickly packaging my items (Christmas gifts). Upon entering I communicated clearly what I wanted. First person began stating prices and asking for phone number. I again said that I was only wanting packaging no shipping and a reason for my specific request. Second person came out from storeroom and again began to quote prices. I reiterated my request and reason. At this point their rude attitude became apparent. As each box was placed on counter in front of me one at a time, I heard noise looking up to see tape lifting from cardboard in several areas of box(s). This happened to other two boxes once packaging completed. I pressed tape onto surfaces of boxes but tape continued to lift. I considered bringing it to their attention but withheld for fear they would retaliate with worse service. I paid for packing and packaging of 3 boxes a cost of over $20. I had 3 large boxes to take out of store and none of the staff (3 that were visible) assisted me in exiting nor offered help. Two customers were in store when I entered; approximately 6 in total were in and out of store during my visit. Store was not busy enough for an excuse of 'busy' to do a decent packaging job. A simple verbal offer to help me as I exited store with 3 large boxes would have sufficed. Also, I considered a large tip for the manpower but given their rude behavior I refrained. New to the neighborhood, I am in the market for a postal box and considered this UPS Store but after this negative experience with simple packaging I would not trust them with mail. I work in customer service, serving hundreds of people a day, thousands per week. Hence my attention to detail. I believe in giving back to the community by patronizing local businesses. This is why I am reviewing this UPS Store location. Sad that local business treat Locals poorly. In a time of Corporate greed I hoped for better neighborhood service...Word of mouth is the best free advertising!
