So I finally finished my case today. It has been a long time coming. Shook and stone did get me a (fairly) large settlement after an accident occurring on Memorial Day 2014. I was t-boned by a driver coming off of the freeway at Tropicana and ft Apache. However, I think the customer service of this law firm is lacking at best. I went several months in physical therapy, visiting bone and joint specialists, possible surgeries, and a not so up and up "Doctor" as per instructions by my lawyer. I only met with my actual lawyer twice. Once during the consultation, and once to agree on a settlement amount. The rest of my case was handled by Kiana who was honestly pretty hard to reach by phone (my preferred method of contact) but was fairly easy to get by email. The receptionists however seemingly do not pass messages along to the people you call to speak too, and there is no individual voicemail to leave for your case worker. I also was originally assigned to Natasha but she disappeared off my case and never really acknowledged me when I went into the office (maybe she forgot me, seems plausible as they have to see so many faces daily)
I am frustrated with how long it took to get this resolved and was continually assured dates but the other parties lawyer seemed to drag her feet purposefully.
All in all, I am glad to be done. They did what I asked them too. We stayed under 2 years. And I don't have an overdrawn bank account anymore. Will I use them again... Probably not. But I would recommend them if you're not in a hurry to resolve your case or if you have a LARGE case which may rally a bit stronger push.
