To be very clear I waited now 4 days to write this review. I didn't want to be hasty. To use the sports metaphor, New York has ruled and this visit was aweful! We dined there Wednesday afternoon before a movie. We were greated promptly and told there was open seating. That may have been a mistake since the on duty manager quickly took the booth behind me to conduct some business. More on that later. So we were then greated by Keem bur Lee or Kimberly as commonly known. My Son ordered a pizza and I ordered 10 hot wings and a signature burger. Drinks were brought to us in a timely manner then food followed shortly thereafter. The wings were tasteless with zero heat though they did have some greasy residue that resembles buffaloe sauce. My fries might have been fried hours earlier as they tasted exstreamly stale. So let me set the stage here a bit. My Son is 13 so you would think the idea of bad pizza wouldn't exist but you would be wrong. He ate 1 slice barely and didnt touch the rest. Upon looking at this pizza it looked like it was made with about three cans of tomato paste rather than any kind of proper sauce. They actually dropped a pizza during my visit and my first thought was that they spared someone. Some will say I should have brought this to the attention of the staff but my Son is mortified by making any kind of fuss and I just didn't think they were professional enough to care. Perhaps this bit will explain my reasoning.
Now for the best part. I mentioned earlier that the manager was conducting business from the booth behind me. I perhaps would have never known this had it not been for Kimberly telling him about being shorted an hour. Now trust me folks she needs her hours! Why you ask? Well she was hanging out behind me talking to the manager about her recent breast Augmentation. My words not hers although her words I'll paraphrase. They are really hard and they really need to be manhandled. Now this is 3 feet away from my 13 year old Son. So bad food and no class amongst the staff. While I couldn't see the manager or any expression he may have had with this conversation I also didn't hear any attempt by him to shutdown the conversation. Working a lunch shift on a Wednesday I am making assumptions that he was a Manager but if I'm wrong and he was an owner then he definitely wasn't protecting anyone's investment.
I try always to support local mom n pop businesses but this visit is making it so very tough.
