  • I know my sushi, I am a sushi snob, and nothing pisses me off more than sub par sushi. I travel for business and have had sushi all over the world, including many parts of Japan. I've been at every sushi joint in the Phoenix / Tempe / Scottsdale area. No joke. Detailed blogs are fine and dandy, I will make this short and sweet: SUSHI EYE = BEST SUSHI IN THE PHOENIX AREA. PERIOD. You will not find better QUALITY anywhere else in Phoenix / Tempe / Scottsdale. Seriously... After eating there numerous times I got curious and did some homework: Voted #1 Sushi Restaurant - 2006 & 2007 in New Times. Sushi Chef / Owner: Richard Cho From/learned craft in CA Great with customers, has a die hard - loyal following Generous Nigiri / Sashimi pieces Tasty Rolls for folks who like Rolls and/or don't dig Nigiri / Sashimi Moderate pricing, nice ambiance, light techno music, cozy atmosphere, and their trademark tempura ice cream is an added plus. But for me it's all about the sush... Don't get annoyed and waste your time, hit Sushi Eye if you want quality sushi in Phoenix.
