  • Deceitful, Unscrupulous, & Awful Customer Service - STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!! My husband and I visited Acura of Las Vegas on Friday 8/22/14 hoping to purchase a new 2015 black Acura TLX. Our sales consultant Mary informed us that they did not have a black car but could get one for us by 8/31/14. She further stated that due to the Labor Day holiday weekend the car may not be available until 9/2/14 but she would back date the contract to 8/31/14 because she wanted to include it in her August sales. That seemed a little shady so it gave us pause but we thought we would address that once the car arrived if necessary. Over the weekend we researched the car further and found we were entitled to 2 discounts totaling $1,250 which she neglected to tell us about. We wondered why she didn't offer these discounts to us. When we came back on 8/25/14 with the $500 deposit of she was hesitant but stated she would honor the discounts. She drafted the sales contract and when we reviewed the contract we noticed that she did not include the $500 deposit we had just given her. What is going on here, we are experiencing red flag after red flag. When we questioned her about it she stated that when the car came she would either give us our check back or apply the $500 as a deposit. On our way out of the dealership she asked if we would be interested in another color car if she could not locate the black one and we told her we were only interested in the black car. On 8/27/14 our check cleared the bank so we figured she must have located a car for us. When we called to ask her if she had located a car for us she told us we need to be patient. By 8/28/14 she told us that she was having trouble locating a black car and that she may not have one until sometime in October or November. My husband and I decided that we were tired of the run around and would purchase the BMW 3 series instead. When we requested our refund check from Acura we were initially told our check would be available by 9/2/14. After Mary stopped returning our calls we spoke with the sales manager, Kenny, who stated he would get us the refund check. After a few days Kenny stopped returning our calls too. Our request to talk to the general manager, Tim, resulted in us being told he was in a meeting, on vacation, and away due to a family emergency all on the same day. We still do not have our refund check. The actions of employees of Acura of Las Vegas border on illegal and they have by far the worst customer service we have ever experienced. Do yourself a favor, take your money elsewhere! In fact, anywhere else would be better. Burn it before you give it to Acura of Las Vegas.
