  • The Queen and Beaver has quickly become one of my favourite places to visit since discovering it about 3 months ago. Located near the Ryerson University area, it is an EXCELLENT alternative to the big, crowded, noisy sports bars around the vicinity (3 Brewers, Jack Astor's, etc.). I would recommend that you head straight up to the upstairs lounge where there's plenty of space, a dedicated bar, and a TV to watch the big game. The beer selection will be more than sufficient for most looking to grab a pint and the food is excellent. They do British pub classics well, and I'd specifically recommend the hand chopped burger & chips. Next time you want to see the big game without venturing too close to Yonge-Dundas Square, definitely give this place a try!
