  • As a tourist, I opted to check this place out. If nothing else, I figured I'd kill time before I boarded the light rail train. I went in searching for local beer for a friend. I went to the wine/beer booth near the back and spoke with a helpful, funny, cool dude (as well as texting back and forth with my friend) comparing and contrasting Charlotte to Portland in terms of beer, beer shopping and public transit. I grabbed a six pack of local stuff and was offered shipping through UPS (but declined and packed it in my checked luggage). Great experience, cute little market. Card was accepted no problem. Parking is a little tricksy but it's just outside a train stop. I was staying at an Airbnb in Fourth Ward and this was an easy stroll on a sunny, crisp fall day.
