Boring overpriced food served by reluctantly pleasant workers/owners who would much rather be socializing or helping someone else apparently.
"Hot links" were tiny little pieces (like how you cut up a hot dog for a toddler) buried in some thick nasty sauce. Pork BBQ was totally underwhelming.
I was looking forward to the mac and cheese as an indulgence but would have been better off making a box of Kraft at home.
When partner and I ate there, the place was virtually empty. After receiving our food, the worker who took our order (and discussed with us that it was our first time there and tried to steer me away from the hot links on account of their being "spicy"...what a joke...has she ever had Thai food?)...anyway, she was sitting in a booth talking to someone socially. As we left, we had to walk past the counter (where there was the owner)...and the booth where the other worker was...neither of them asked how we liked it, or even said thanks for coming in or even "bye".
I don't need to make new friends with every restaurant owner, but when you profess to be so friendly and "Christian" (not a guess on my part, it's posted pretty clearly on the counter...and the menu boards...and again on the counter...i thought i was going to have to say grace to get my food!), you'd think a quick acknowledgment of your ONLY customers as they leave would be in order.
I feel like they are out to serve a specific niche audience and if you aren't in that group, they couldn't care less about you.
I'm happy to return that favor...by not coming back.
