  • I came in due to a recall on a part that had to be fixed through GM and figured I would just get an oil change as well. I had never been there before, and it's safe to say I will never be again. I set an appointment 3 weeks in advance, appears that wasn't necessary. Technician at check in asked for all the same info I had given when I set the appointment. I asked how long and he told me an hour and a half. I thought it was a tad long for what I needed to have done especially when they had told me on the phone it would be an hour max. I had my two year old tow, but figured we would wait it out. There was a nice little play room and I brought enough toys to keep my son occupied. Nearly two hours later I went to check on the status of my car. The tech who checked me in was not at his desk, so I asked another desk tech to check on it. She seemed put off, like I was asking her to solve a quadratic equation. She took my name and looked on the computer, " it won't be much longer," she said, barely looking up at me. I asked how long, and she told me thirty minutes. She never left her desk to go ask or called back to the garage. Forty five minutes later, I went back to the desk. The original tech was there, and I asked where my car was. He went to check, and said they were still working on it. He advised it should be another 10- 15 minutes. At this point he also began to hit me up for another two thousand dollars in repairs that I "should get taken care of." I was there for nearly three hours already with a toddler beginning to get fussy. I advised him to please complete the job I came there for so I could leave. Forty minutes later my car arrived. My major issue here was the complete lack of service and honesty. If they would have told me on the phone or at check in it would take three and a half hours to complete, I would have found something else to do with my son or rescheduled. I was told the job would take an hour to an hour and a half, not once did anyone come to advise me it would take longer or if they were having problems. The sales people were nice inside, but that could have been because I was walking around looking at cars with 10 of them just standing around. The service repair center workers just seemed miserable and didn't care at all. The job took nearly three times as long as they told me and not once did I hear "sorry for the delay." I buy cars, trucks and vans for my business. I had always gone chevy / GM, the dealership I used to use was just recently closed. Safe to say Pat O'Brien will not be the replacement.
