  • I had done extensive research on a place to have my daughters birthday party. I found Jump n Jungle on the Internet and read the reviews on Yelp, which were mainly very positive. I called them and spoke at length with them about their facility, the type of party my daughter wanted and the number of children (approx. 25) attending. I also let them know there would be about 15 parents in attendance as well. I was assured the facility was large enough to accommodate that many people, I was told the children would be supervised by staff at Jump n Jungle and the staff would ensure it wasn't a "free for all" on the blow up toys. I was speaking to a Supervisor/Manager I paid the $100 deposit over the phone and we ordered the 2 hour party where we had the entire facility, including the party room to ourselves. When we arrived, of course all the children were very excited and took off their shoes and started playing on all the blow up toys. Also, when I called to inquire about the facility, I was also told to make sure and bring a jacket because the play room is "quite chilly." That was a complete lie! It was so hot in there that parents and children were complaining and I complained to the staff who told me they couldn't do anything about it. There was a high school boy and girl working there during the party on the afternoon of 9/7/14. We brought our own store bought food in and the staff people did absolutely NOTHING expect tell my husband and I what time it was every 15 minutes. It was obvious we were the last party of the day (Sunday) and they wanted to go home on time! For the money we paid, I was EXTREMELY disappointed in the staff and their lack of involvement in the party. They were too busy flirting with each other and playing on their cell phones. The parents had to be in charge of the children and the organization of the party, which is NOT what I was told would happen! Toward the end of the party, my daughter and 2 friends were in the jumpy house (again with no staff member anywhere in sight) and my daughter was kicked in the nose accidently by her friend. The staff had no idea it happened and one of the parents is Paramedic/Firefighter and had to yell to the staff (still sitting up front) to get a washcloth, water and ice. Her birthday party ended in a trip to the ER, a diagnosis of a transverse nasal fracture, surgery, a week out of school and 4-6 weeks out of soccer (which is her passion!). On 9/9/14, I called the facility to speak with the Manager about my bad experience and to this day, have not received a return call! I would NOT recommend this facility to ANYBODY!
