For the kids' first time to Vegas I wanted them to see as much of Vegas as possible. Knowing my knee couldn't do a ton of walking, plus I wanted to be a looky loo, we left the car at our hotel and left the driving to the Big Bus. The Groupon I found only confirmed my decision!
With one Downtown route that would pick us up outside our hotel, and an easy transfer hop at Circus Circus to the Strip route, it was so easy to get around and we never had to wait long before our next bus would pull up at the change or at a stop. There were great shopping stops - both outlets or gift stores, tons of casinos to explore and a few museums along the route.
We gave it three thumbs up. My thumbs up goes out to the guides who were all so polite, funny and personable. One guide walked a blind woman and her service dog from the one stop to the other route pick up (and yes, the dog could ride up on top!). My daughter's thumbs up was for the sunshine and cool breeze on top! My son's was for all the cool stops - he was taking notes for other places to stay somewhere down the road.
Even if we'd paid normal prices the cost would be worth it for a) the information; b) not being lost; c) the convenience and flexibility; d) the discounts you get at some other businesses when you tell them you rode the bus (and show your receipt)!
