I wasn't even in the store 2 minutes but was left with a lasting impression.
I knew I was walking in just before close, but in desperate need of an upgrade. I'm pretty tech savvy so I figured if they would just let me purchase the phone, I could be on my way.
But that's not how this played out.
I was greeted by a blond haired woman. I acknowledged it was close to close but asked if she could help me. She replied "possibly" and asked what I needed.
I told her, to which she replied that an upgrade takes 45 minutes.
I saw a silver lining when she asked if I had been backing up my phone. When I replied I had, she asked if I would make an appointment to come back.
I left.
Listen, I get it. I hate when people ask me to do something that requires I work late. But unfortunately this wasn't the first time I'd heard of poor customer service.
Now I will go out of my way to find another retailer.
Maybe I'm being a princess and expecting more than I should... however I felt like an inconvenience and that clocking out was more important to them than my business.
