| - I hardly ever do this, ok, this was the second time, if you want to get technical (the 1st was with hubby in Hawaii and YES, I love that Jam's World dress, and wear it today, years later), when I looked at something in the window that a mannequin was wearing and wanted to have it. It was Mother's Day, we were shopping for the next vacation for our little man, and I saw a button down shirt with tiny anchors all over it (I don't really have a lot of button downs).
I never shopped this brand before, mind you. I didn't know what my size would be, the clerk gave me a size XS to try. It fits a tiny smidge snug, dang swimming made me broad on top (J/K, I like my shape, makes me feel strong), but if I wear it with a tank, it could work. And it was $17 plus a 10% discount for giving my email address. So I looked around, kind of a small inventory for the ladies (far right corner of the store, with your back to the shopping mall side). I did find some bermuda length chino shorts (hard to find, since most retail stores are going the super short route; commercial jungle: "we wear short shorts"---you'll get that if you're in the same age range, hahaha) size 0, in the 70% off rack. I tried everything on and those are my sizes, XS for tops and size 0 in bottoms. Mental rolodex, for future reference. Ok, cool, something for our next trip.
The clerks were really helpful and nice. The dressing rooms (left corner, with your back to the shopping mall side) are locked. A warning on the doors, you might want to back away since some passersby can sneak a peak at the goods, if you know what I mean. The store is clean. The racks are well-stocked but not jam-packed. A few other customers (*most of the customers were older than us), but I wouldn't say it was busy. Checkout (counter was sort of the middle of the store) was fast since there was no line. The mens inventory is everything else of the store, I'd say it's like 75% of the store inventory.
I'm eager to explore the other outlet store (Premium/ north) and check out their sales and clearance racks.
