| - After a couple days at a nearby dump of a Motel (in that hotel cluster one exit further west on SR 91), I was not hopeful I'd find anything in the ~ $60 range, which is my target price, worth a darn. Clean room, working TV, clean towels, the usual for economy travel. This Red Roof so impressed me, I stayed a second night and complimented them each day for a "good job". I really cannot find any noteworthy fault in either room I had. With the King Sized bed, the room was a bit cramped but not an issue. They had HBO on the TV selections. The coffee was fine. Everything worked. Staff wore uniforms. Hmmm, corporate must expect to present themselves as a quality operation despite budget pricing. I will stay here again.
Your experience might vary, but I discovered the rate for a room was cheaper using a popular on-line booking website, than the retail quoted price on their elevated freeway sign.
