| - I never thought I'd find myself saying this, but I have been introduced to a Vegas bachelorette party activity that might be even more fun than a jaunt to Olympic Gardens. May I present to you... the Pole Fitness Studio! We were a rowdy bunch of close to 20 bacheloretters, so we took over the entire studio for our pole dancing class. Thankfully there were plenty of poles, even though there were a ton of us, so we could spin to our delight.
Beverages were allowed in the studio and we were fully stocked for our class (added bonus, there is a liquor store right next door for replenishments of liquid courage.) On arrival, we filled out the required forms, worked on getting sauced up for the class, and perused the gift shop. A few girls bought hot pants to wear during the class from the little shop area... other purchase options included pole fitness workout gear/equipment, instructional DVDs, and other goodies... as you can imagine.
After all the I's were dotted and T's crossed, we headed into the studio to met our instructor, Nikki. Now this girl is what made the whole experience for me. She was sweet as can be, made the situation unintimidating, and had the ability to coach every last one of us past our timidity. Plus, she was hilarious. And quite talented! We couldn't ask for a better instructor and party starter.
I won't go into what we learned in the class, I will say that a lot of the material was carried back to LA and put to use... at least that's what the girls tell me. Really, you must go and try it for yourself. I always mention the Pole Fitness Studio when girlfriends are heading to Vegas for bachelorettes, and every one of them who has fit it into their party weekend returned with raving reviews.
