I belong to a 24 hour fitness club in New York. Since I come to Vegas at least once a month, I inquired at this facility regarding the process and fees associated to upgrading my membership to multiple club access. I spoke with the manager Jennifer Codi and sales associate Le Onna and they gave me two options: upgrading my membership which will bring my monthly membership by an additional $20/ month or rewriting my membership and paying first month, last month, and initiation fee but I would be saving $10/month by doing this. I told them that I will think about it since it doesn't really make sense to rewrite especially if all the fees offset the savings. I came back the next day and spoke to another employee who told me that I cannot use the facility since I do not have a local address however, he will just let me use the facility as a courtesy. This is after informing him that I do have a local address here with my husband. The following day I came back and spoke to Le Onna again. I told her I'm ready to move forward since I obviously need a gym at this point. She proceeded to tell me that the manager Jennifer Codi cannot honor the rewrite because I came in the previous day. I mentioned to her that I came in here to upgrade however they both were not available at that time. Anyways, they wasted half an hour of my time going back and forth over text. I don't know why Le Onna could not just pick up the phone to call the manager instead of waiting for her manager to text back. I ended up upgrading my membership for an additional $20/month because I didn't want them to waste any more of my time. The manager Jennifer wanted to charge me $40 for the day because she happened to be off on the weekends and can't even do anything until she comes back to work on Monday. Apparently, the manager does not work on the weekends and leaves the kids to run the place on the weekends. This explains why the staff are so incompetent and unprofessional. There was an employee on the front desk eating his lunch and other employees fraternizing. Although my gym at New York is much smaller, there are more machines than this gym. It's a waste of space to have such a big gym especially when the workout equipment are lacking and customer service is subpar. Even though I'm only paying $50/month for my membership, it's a waste of money and I'd rather go back to lifetime and pay $200/month. At least there, I'm getting what I pay for.
