  • Here are the exact events that occurred: 1. I placed order on Dec 17th for a delivery date of Dec 22nd 2. I cancelled the order on Dec 18th (my bad for not verifying the recipient's travel dates.... ) a. According to the website, we cannot login and track or manage our orders. All cancellations or changes to your order must be done by calling the store. And 24hrs prior notice is required before delivery date. b. I called the store - the girl said her manager needs to approve cancellation. But I'll get the email confirmation later that day 3. Dec 19th, I noticed there was a charge on my credit card 4. Dec 19th, I called the store to see why it's charged - they're like oh the status says cancelled. It's HQ's system that's taking long to process - but I'll receive a refund and confirmation in a few days 5. Dec 27th, I chatted online with the customer service department of HQ Edible Arrangements. Asked them about the status. They called the store and said they spoke to the manager, who said she will issue me a refund on the 29th. 6. Dec 30th, I still got nothing in my inbox nor a credit on my credit card. I called the recipient to see if they had in fact received anything - they said they got nothing. 7. Dec 30th, I called the store - they're like oh the status says cancelled, it just shows up as delivered on the website for some reason. It's "normal". They're like well it's HQ's fault you didn't get your money back but we processed it. 8. Dec 30th, I called HQ - they dealt with the store directly. Apparently the "store manager" was available to process my cancellation. Cause within minutes - I received my cancellation email. 9. Jan 2nd, I finally received a refund I was extremely upset with how the store handled the situation. It seemed as if - they were just trying to drag it out and hope I don't notice the delivery was not made and they had pocketed my money. I think the ethics of how they do business is sh*t. They're in the business of service delivery - therefore - show some customer service. HQ needs to do a better job at centralizing and improving their systems. What's the point of being able to order online if you can't manage the order after. Truly disappointed with Edible Arrangements this time around - makes me think all those previous orders I've placed before - I'm not even sure if those orders made it. I've been a customer for many years - but I'll never purchase from them again.
