I stopped into this place for lunch with one of my friends and our four kids because they were is no seating available at Lucy's which is a more relaxed, kid friendly environment. They did have a kids menu and high chairs so I figured it would be OK if we hey there. We ordered our drinks from our waiter, Ethan. The kids want to pink lemonade but there was none available so they were able to make Shirley Temple's. My daughter asked for some cherries and the waiter checked the bar and informed us that there were no cherries. Then I asked if they had any apple juice for my one-year-old. They did not. I decided to get the patty melt but I wanted to add some bacon to it. He checked with the kitchen to see if that will be OK and came back and informed us that I could not have bacon on my sandwich. I asked him why and he said that the kitchen did not have any bacon. I thought this was kind of strange. He never came back to give us any refills on our drinks and seemed annoyed with our requests for cherries and for kids cups since he brought the drinks in regular adult size cups and any parent knows that that is an accident waiting to happen. Then he came and asked us if we were ready to pay while we were still eating. I found this to be rude as well. My son was very fussy and at one point I got up and left the restaurant to try to calm him down. Once the food came he was quiet and an old lady walked past our table and thanked me for ruining her lunch. I assume her appetite was lost because my child was crying. To that old lady, there's a special place in hell for you. But I digress. My patty melt was OK but the patty itself was rare and he didn't ask me how I wanted it but if he had asked, I wouldn't have chosen rare. Patty was pretty thin so I don't know what the difficulty was in cooking it all the ways through. I ended up rushing to get out of this place because the overall experience was just kind a horrible from the service to the food to the other customers and to my fussy child. I would definitely not go back there. There are way too many better restaurants that I could be eating at.
