  • Mindy is pretty much the most kickass person on planet Earth. Truthfully, my fiance goes to the dispensary in this shopping plaza, and I happened to see this barber shop in the corner and told him he should check it out. We just moved to Vegas and he needed a new barber (gasp), so the search may as well begin somewhere, right? So, my fiance is black. Apparently black men have this thing about only letting other black men cut their hair. Imagine his surprise when the manager recommended that a Caucasian person, a Caucasian woman to be exact, cut his hair. SHOCK. Lol. I don't exactly know what made him agree to it for the first time in 29 years of life, but he did. And I'm glad he did! Mindy did an absolutely incredible job (not just according to me, the fiance is also extremely pleased) and, low and behold, we have a new barber shop! About a week after my fiance got his hair cut, we took our 4 year old son Isaiah back to Mindy to have her cut his hair too! She was AWESOME. If you have little ones, DEFINITELY book your appointment with Mindy! She was so patient and kind, our tiny guy sat through the whole haircut like it was nothing! They say kids are the best judges of character, so ya know what that means! It goes without saying that the other barbers, the manager, and the man who happened to be acting as cashier when we left were also all very friendly. We've had two awesome experiences here and we look forward to many more!
