| - Breakfast, coffee and homemade orange juice? Any day, anytime!
I was so curious to come to this place after I saw it being featured on the Food Network channel (yes, yes.... "diners drive ins and dives" is one of my MANY guilty pleasures) And it didn't disappoint!
Honestly. You know it's a a good spot when it starts getting full on a monday morning.
First things first, if you can find parking on the street. Do it. You'll probably thank me later. The restaurant has a tiny parking lot in the back, but it's so tiny that you pretty much have to back your way out. Just save yourself the headache.
As for the food, amazing! The breakfast menu is not the most extensive, but it has all the right stuff. Omelets, pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, you name it.
Since I'm such a bore when it comes to my food, I opted for the cheese omelet with a side of home fries and wheat toast. The omelet was cooked to perfection. But I have to admit; the country potatoes and homemade strawberry jam were the best part of the experience. Who would have known?!
Definitively will come back next time I'm in town.
