| - Okay - so now that I have been back multiple times, I definitely have to up their star rating to WOOHOO status. I LOVE this place. I do agree that they are pricier than the average coffee shop, but I'd say it's worth the money. I wrote my first review in haste - I was THAT excited to see a new business next door to my apt so I wanted to let the world know about it ASAP. But, everything I mentioned in my first review still holds true.
The owner and baristas are very friendly and knowledgable about what they're brewing. I felt a bit out of my element ordering coffee from their menu (mainly because I couldn't pronounce anything and had no idea what I was reading), but the staff is patient and will wait for you to make your decision. Their coffee is strong, aromatic, and flavorful. I've had the espresso that I can't pronounce or spell - the one that Erin M referenced in her review - and it's definitely wonderful!
Bagels are AMAZING. Before Pour, I'd never tried a Cleveland Bagel Co bagel. Now that I have, I'm in LOVE. Their bagels are so fresh, soft, and delicious and I get my bagels with the cheddar chive shmear! DELISH!!
I haven't tried another pastry from them besides the cookie I had during my first visit, but that's because my taste buds gravitate towards the Brewnuts now...... oh my gosh- the BREWNUTS are to die for. Fresh, delicious donuts. Can't get enough. My favorite so far has been the Redford - the glaze is made with their espresso that I can't spell or pronounce. YUM.
All of this, combined with free WiFi, charging stations, and a friendly atmosphere makes this a place I can see myself frequenting with my laptop to just get out of my apartment on snowy days off from work like today.
