Like other American stores that venture over the Canadian border (Krispy Kreme and Target), this place is also a huge disappointment.
Whenever I'm in the US, I always try to check out Sally's Beauty because they carry lots of beauty supplies that are normally not available to people outside the trade. So I figured that I would experience the same thing here - Nope!
I gave this place the benefit of the doubt the first time I was here, a lot of items are low on stock and it looked cramped and dingy. But apparently that's how it always is. When selecting nail polish be careful to look on the labels on the bottom of the bottle to make sure it's the color you're really looking for - they tend to stack overflow of one color to the next slot (that's out of stock) so their display looks full . . .
I'm not sure if it's because this place is in the NE but the people who work here friggen hate life. The last time I was here, there was a sale that involved a free item with purchase. Said free item was not on the shelf.
Me: Could you let me know if there are any left in stock?
Cashier: *eye roll* . . . No
Me: Would I be able to get a replacement since it's out of stock?
Cashier: No
Seriously what is the point of advertising the sale if it's not going to be honored?
And to the cashier - you work in a beauty supply store - use your employee discount to buy some hair coloring to fix your hack dye job and some nail polish to cover your disgusting nails you clearly trim using your teeth! The image you're currently presenting is "Hey, if you shop here you'll look like me" No thanks
