  • I only lived here for 4 months and can I say thank goodness it was only temporary. In the short time our apt got broken into and the robber had a key. After a short while I heard from other neighbors with a similar story that they were broken into and personal items were stolen but the robber got in and out without picking a lock or breaking a window, even a 2nd story apt with only internal access. Obviously this thief has a key and management is trying to cover it up. I asked about any recent criminal activity in the complex and they flat out denied it. I found out from the police dept that there has been a lot of activity in Madera. They also refuse to do a walk through before move in and no walk through when you move out. This is ridiculous because they can make things up and withhold my security deposit. They told me that I have to take pictures of the apt in lieu of a walk through. My feeling is the management is so lazy that they do not want to do it. They also mentioned a third party vendor handles the walk throughs and will be assessing the final deposit returned to me. How would they have a clue about the status of the apt on the day I left. What if there's another break in and the place is vandalized, will I be responsible? If you can avoid this place, you will be sorry. It is located in Summerlin but these days that doesn't mean much. I was completely mislead and taken advantage of.
