For my first time in Vegas this place was nice. My husband and I just got back from our honeymoon and we really enjoyed staying here. He's been to Vegas several times and insisted we come to Vegas for my honeymoon. Given I enjoy the country life more than the city life I can honestly say the Monte Carlo made my first time in Vegas a vacation I will never forget. The hotel room was on the 31st floor and overlooked the back side of NY NY. Not an awesome veiw but lets be honest, who goes to Vegas to stare out their window? Our bed was compfy and bathroom was clean. Our room didn't have the problems that other yelpers have posted on here.
The casino was fun. But it helps when the people you play the tables with are just as entertaining as your dealer is. The three times we played blackjack at the MC we had friendly, engaging and fun dealers and players. Which made playing a game I was not used to playing a lot more fun than I thought it would be. The slot machines where fun. We got hooked on the "Hangover" slot machine for the most part. I really enjoyed playing the bonus rounds.
As far as food goes, the Cafe was worth the money paid for breakfast. They give you a lot of food for your money. The Dragon Noodle wasn't my favorite. Our food was bland and dry. I was sadly disapointed with it. The Chinese Food in my very small town was better than the Dragon Noodle.
The Blueman Group color parade at 6:15 every night was fun to watch.
Never got to the pool but it looked nice.
The tram from our hotel to the Aria and Bilaggio was very nice. Made it easy to get around.
The Cupcakery was AWESOME!!!!
All in all, I really enjoyed my stay at the Monte Carlo. We plan to come back every other year to just get away from small town life and plan to stay here again.
