Wanted to try this place out. Great location; in the middle of everything! Had a microwave in our room on the 28th floor. The view was the backside of Harrahs and The High Roller. Had a super comfy slip and slide (leather) couch. What a blessing. We stayed Wednesday to Sunday.
Then the problems came up.
The thermostat wanted us to be at a cool 57 degrees. Even setting the temp at 80 degrees, it only became 60 degrees.
The wallpaper started to slowly peel off the wall. By the time we left, it was hanging off the wall.
The electrical sockets had to be reset every time I had to use it.
Housekeeping kept unplugging my time clock.
I could only access one side of the closet. One of the closet doors were taken off the rails and unmovable to place back.
The phone did not work.
No microwave. I know it sounds minuscule but when you have leftovers from a super expensive posh restaurant, that is something you don't want to toss away.
Elevator moves slower than molasses in the dead of winter. Expect to wait for 10 plus minutes for one to arrive.
Trying to find your room is a maze. The room signs are misleading. It'll point to one direction, only to lead you to a dead end or an exit. Definitely use the toilet before you play hide and seek with your room.
We told the front desk repeatedly of our problems everyday of our stay. They told us that they will send an engineer to fix them. An engineer?!!?!! They never came. The best they could do for us, take off the resort fees.
Hopefully this will all change for the better if you decide to stay here. Give it a try but let your voice be heard when you come across any problems and concerns. If you don't understand what they are telling you, make them explain it to you in a way that you can understand. You make your day how you want it. Make it a good one!
