  • One of the more genuinely charming coffee shops that I've been to in a while. This Villeray spot was recommended by the owner of another cute shop in the area (Magasin Général de Castelnau - s e http://www.mgdecastelnau.co ) which was hosting a pop-up event, showcasing local products and vendors. Beyond good product, this sunny italian cafe offers quirky design touches like the 70s bright orange cups and saucers, comic books, games and an old fashioned drugstore shelving display. As much as I love all of the sleek minimalist coffee shops that have been popping up these past few years, this was a welcome change of pace and energy. They also apparently serve lunch and beers.
