  • Let me start by saying that I REALLY wanted to like this place. I came because I read the reviews saying this place was like Goldspike. I also read the reviews saying that this place had terrible service, but thought to myself, "It can't be that bad, right??" Well I was wrong. The visit started very pleasantly. Ordered the fried pickles and Jalapeno Popper Egg Rolls. Poppers were waaaay too cheesy. Decided to order a beer. Waitress comes back to tell me that they no longer offer the beer I ordered, no big deal. Order another and am introduced to the PKWY App where you can log your beers for prizes. Instantly get excited for this and download the app. First order goes great and I pay my tab and have everything logged. And then things started to spiral. Go inside and start another tab. Ask about how to play some of the games around the bar, none of the wait staff knew how they worked, cost, etc. Ordered a few more drinks before the waitress serving me let me know her shift was ending and asked if she could close out with me. I did so that I could throw a tip her way and asked about logging the stuff I ordered. She assured me that she would log all of it as she took my money and promptly left. I eventually managed to find another waitress and asked if she could log everything for me, since I wanted credit for what I had bought and also wanted to leave. After waiting 20 minutes for her to find an Ipad to log everything, she informed me that she was unable to log anything because I had already been checked out. It seems to me that if your gimmick is logging beers and giving away prizes, you'd have the method down to a science. It honestly seems like the wait staff is instructed to make it as hard as possible to decrease the amount of prizes that the bar has to give out. Shady business. I won't be back.
