Rozi's Special Red Wine Chili was simply amazing! The best chili I've ever had? Perhaps! Red wine. Meat. Beans. Tomatoes. Onions. Celery. Green peppers. Wonderful flavours. It was served with a selection of crackers and I chose a glass of the Allan Scott Millstone Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand to go with it (described as having a passion fruit, lime, white grapefruit, jasmine and green apple flavour that is bright and very juicy). I chose this off the cafe menu and enjoyed this in the cafe. However you can also have a drink while you shop, or if you want a bottle you can choose one from the store and take it into the cafe. There is parking in a lot behind the store (free on weekends; metered on weekdays). In the front of the store on the Detroit Ave side is where the cafe is. For the summer time I noticed the front of the cafe along the sidewalk is a series of garage doors. Today however it was quite cozy and a great spot to study. Very quiet - quieter than Starbucks. The store worker even came in and asked me and the one other person studying in the cafe if we wanted him to turn the radio down (what service and consideration!). Along the interior wall of the cafe, covered in pieces of old wine boxes, there were also a fair amount of outlets. I'll definitely add this to my list of favourite "coffee shops" that I like to study in.
