rev:text	I had to do a comedy show here recently and was trying to figure out if I'd been here before. Once inside and having just got off the make-shift stage, it hit me that I'd been here after some soccer game or other. Maybe that's what makes this place feel a bit average-y. It really doesn't stand out from the other Fox and Fiddles that pepper the city of Toronto. The one on John at Adelaide (http://www.yelp.ca/biz/fox-and-fiddle-toronto-2)has two levels and is a boisterous downtown haunt. The one at Yonge and St. Clair (http://www.yelp.ca/biz/fox-and-fiddle-toronto) is expansive and feels a bit more contemporary. This one, as nice as the staff are, and as good as the food is (standard to the franchise) is pretty average. Nothing really bad about it, but nothing that really stands out. It's hard to get to by public transit, so it strikes me that this place sees much local traffic and doesn't get people coming to this specifically for a purpose. If you're travelling through, by all means stop in. One thing I've noticed as well. Wednesday is the current comedy night, which also coincides with its half-price fajita night. Sadly it doesn't also fall on Maybe-We-Should-Get-Some-Air-Circulation-In-Here night, as the sizzling fajitas that drown out the comics onstage, combined with the spotlight on the stage give you a low-hanging cloud in the dining area. The place looks like a lounge in Vegas from the 60s when you were able to smoke inside. Maybe that is a good thing.
