  • Six Penn Kitchen is closing. To me this is a great loss for the Pittsburgh Cultural District. Good Food, Fast 'enough', convenient for all cultural events in the district, from Heinz Hall to the Benedum Center. Easy to establish reservations for pre, or post show. Great rooftop. We don't eat here every trip to the district to see a show, ballet, symphony or what ever. But we do eat here often enough to value their contribution to the district. We are going to badly miss Six Penn Kitchen. To me this is nothing short of a big loss for the cultural community. Will anybody be so kind as to suggest an in-kind replacement that could be viewed as similar in cuisine?? Thanks Six Penn Kitchen, You are going to be missed!
