  • After almost a year of living in the neighborhood and not giving 808 a shot at satisfying our sushi cravings, my wife and I stopped in for happy hour. You can't really go wrong with cold beer, and a table full of sushi rolls, both of which are half price every Saturday afternoon apparently. I'm not sure how I ignored this deal in my own backyard for so long, but I'm sure I'll be taking advantage of it pretty regularly from now on. We enjoyed the food. Nothing too complex or fancy, just tasty rolls prepared fresh. Because the price was so good, we order many different rolls. Too many, in fact, to remember the names of my favorites, but all were worthy of my time. The decor seems to be a peculiar cross between a modern sushi bar and a slightly upscale fast food dining room, but the atmosphere is comfortable. The staff is welcoming and seemed genuinely excited when we walked in. If you're in the area and craving sushi, this is a great place for a quick bite
