rev:text	This place= great hang out place for a group of friends and I could easily give it a four stars- but here's why I gave it what it got. I was really amped about this place because a group of my friends are going to hit the town, get drunk and karaoke. Turned out- this Geisha is no Zhang Ziyi. The room is $150 for two hours- we checked in around 10:30 ish for two hours so I figured we would get out at 12:30 - when we got there they were still cleaning the room so we didn't get it at ten. Since we were getting into the groove of things a little before our time was up, I got another hour for us thinking we'd get another hour- the cashier charged us for the full hour but we would have to leave at 1 AM- I ask her why because we aren't getting the room for the full hour and her response was "We have to get everyone out of the room at 1." Which I was cool with because she's doing her job- but why charge me for the whole hour? It didn't make sense to me- making me go-go a ga-ga. I didn't give a fist about it because I have a large group- but that is something Geisha should review...business ethic? BTW the "large sushi platter" that is suppose to come with our two hour reservation turned out to be a "tiny platter"- if you ever had the boat order or know what I'm talking about with that reference- think 1/3 of that. The sushi is mediocre. The lady who served us didn't really teach us how to use the remote control and one of the TVs in the room did not work. Our mic was cutting in and out- I didn't remember anyone was bad enough for the mic to cut out like that. It did and one just stop working- and took them a while to come in to fix it for us. The UPs for this joint is the private room and the pole in the room. It is a good enough reason for anyone to come to this location. It is something different for Scottsdale and it's a lot of fun if you come with the right people. The bar area is also nice because it has a little dance floor and high tables/chairs for people just to sit and hang out. Also there's a patio area. It is a good hang out spot for a night out aside from my bad experience mentioned.
