| - Great food, horrible service.
Yesterday was my birthday and I was so excited about trying this place out with friends. There were 12 of us, total. When we got there, our table was ready (yay!) From there, everything went downhill.
We had the rudest servers I have EVER had. First, our orders were delivered to the wrong people. Being that we all got steak, we didn't realize we had the wrong order until we cut into it and had a bite. The servers came around maybe once every 7 minutes, so I had to wait quite awhile to tell our server that my steak was rare (it was supposed to be medium well). When they brought the steak back (and it was still a bloody medium and not a medium well), I asked for a fork (since it was taken from my plate before). The lady pointed to a dirty fork on a salad plate (not my salad plate), and said, "there's a fork right there, Hun". I wish I was making this up.
Furthermore, since we all got the wrong orders, my friend was holding up some fries and asking if they were anyone's fries. Our male server actually scolded him and said, "Don't shout out like that--you're making it more confusing"
For the final straw, I handed the female waitress my check with my credit card, and she said, "I can't take that right now" and walked away. I heard her say something about neglecting other tables.
I served for EIGHT years, and unbeknownst to these rude servers, I sometimes tip 40%. I understand being in the weeds and being super busy, but being rude is unacceptable. It IS acceptable to say, "Oh gosh! I'm super busy and I'll pick up your checks on my way back during my next trip out here". It WOULD be acceptable to mess up orders...people make mistakes. What is NOT okay is being blatantly rude about the mistakes you brought upon yourself. They were actually mean!!!!
I left with $50 less having only eaten a baked potato. I will not be coming back.
