| - I would have given one star, but the young ladies who took care of me were sweet. I went in on Saturday Aug 13th and left out very unhappy and short $67.00. I'm still trying to understand what I paid for. I'm from Oak Park a suburb of Chicago IL where the cost of living is way higher, and I didn't even pay that much at the nail spa by my old house. I got a pedicure, manicure, and eyebrow wax, and the only thing that was up to par was the pedicure. The manicure was average. Not the best that I have had, but the young lady was sweet. I don't get nail polish, because I prefer the shine buff on my finger nails. The buffer she used was old, and that made the shine mediocre. The removal of the cuticle on my nails wasn't that great either. The eyebrow waxing was the most horrible job I have ever received, and it was done by the owner which makes it worse. I told her I like to keep by eyebrows thick. She sloppily applied wax to the top and bottom of both brows, and in between them. She quickly ripped them off, and she didn't even use tweezers to clean them up. It looked like my brows weren't even done. I told the young lady at the front desk that I wasn't happy. She told the owner, and the owner said she would fix my brows, but I said I wanted to keep them thick. Saying I want them thick does not translate into don't clean them up. No I didn't want her fixing them. I didn't want them to possibly be worse, because women know that it seems like it takes forever for brows to grow back after they have been mutilated. She should have done them correctly in the first place, because that is what I paid for. So I paid $12 for eyebrows, $35 for a signature pedicure (they charge extra for the scrub and whatever else, and that was standard where I came from), and $20 for a manicure ($5 extra dollars for the shine buff that wasn't shiny). I won't be coming back here.
