  • My experience with Dr Comfort was an appalling disappointment. The initial call was pleasant enough. Michael, the manager, quoted me a flat rate to get a gas line hooked up for my bbq. I was clear of the details of the length required. It was the best rate I had encountered to date, so I scheduled an installation date. I took the day off from work, but they didn't show. After a while, I called them to find out what was happening and they claimed they could not locate their own service team. Odd. So we rescheduled another visit, but on the second visit, they could not do the work because they did not have the proper tools. So, we rescheduled yet again. On the morning of the third visit, I got a call from Michael saying that they would have to increase the cost by almost 50%. When I questioned him about the additional cost and about being compensated for the three visits, he told me to go look elsewhere and that he no longer wanted my business and hung up on me. I had considered Dr Comfort from a review on Yelp, but I should know better than to base a decision on a single review.
