  • This location, near the original, pays homage to a Pittsburgh delicacy. Service is what I'd call "bare essentials"; they show up, grab you a drink, and take your order, and don't expect much more. But that's fine for a sandwich shop. The food itself though has started to taste a bit bland though the bread itself comes from another Pittsburgh icon, Mancini's. One cool thing- you don't get plates. Food is served on deli paper. Weird, but easy cleanup. Worth checking out, but I'm not sure if it's as good as it used to be :(.
