I used to like going to this Petmart but they have turned into a used car sales mentality with their puppy coupon books. I just went in there today to buy puppy food and a couple toys. When I got to the cashier she scanned my items entered my Pet Perks but then said hold on went a grabbed a puppy coupon book opened and tore out a coupon scanned it and then raised my purchase by $4. She said there are a bunch of coupons in the book. Still a little perplexed with how she went about selling the book I did purchase it but then when I received my change she shorted me $5 and I showed her the error which she did fix but when I got to my car something just didn't sit right. So I called Petsmart and spoke to the supervisor, Jared, and told him how the representative went about selling the coupon book and wanted him to know that wasn't a good customer experience because I felt "conned" into buying it. The supervisor could really care less about the complaint and said he was standing right there and heard the whole thing then he told me if you say yes or don't say anything at all we are going to sell the book to you that's just how we sell them honestly. So maybe I'm being a bit paranoid about the whole thing but I'm never going back. I will go back and get my $4 back for the coupon book and give my business else where. Don't need to be forced into a sale. That's just ridiculous.
