Holy cow this was horrible. I did an online checkin for my grandmother and it said to expect a 15 minute wait. Perfect. We arrived at Great Clips and it said our approximate wait time should be 1 minute. Oh how wrong that was. First off, as soon as we walked through the door the woman at the cash register is SCREAMING to the client who just finished checking out and was on her way out the door. Literally screaming saying "YOU WAIT A SECOND! GET BACK HERE!" Woah, that was harsh. I guess her card declined so the hairdresser checking her out decided the best thing to do would be to scream at her in front of everyone to not leave. As she's trying to run her card again she doesn't know what she's doing on the register, is playing with her hair and asking the hairdresser cutting a mans hair behind her for help. I felt horrible for the man in the chair who just came for a quick trim/clean up because I lost count on the number of times his hairdresser walked away from him to clean up the woman at the front desk's mess. Put her scissors down and everything to "damage control." Finally my grandmother gets up to the desk and says she's there. We see her name on the computer since we did an online check in. The woman says she doesn't have anyone by that name checked in, nobody in the system, basically she said she didn't exist. I point out her name is right there on the list, 3rd in line. The hairdresser cutting the man's hair has to come back over to help her add my grandmother in the system even though I've taken her here before. She tells me it will be a 15 minute wait. Hm... Interesting, when online it said it was a 15 minute wait. We sit down and 30 minutes later she's finally taken back. I can not believe how SLOW these employees operated. I feel bad the man who sat in that chair and had to wait for the hairdresser to return over 10 times actually had to pay for his haircut. I'm embarrassed to have even brought my grandmother here. Obviously you get what you pay for - but I didn't think that meant witnessing employees yell at customers in front of a busy waiting room, watching hairdressers sweep up the floor SO slow it was like they didn't want to cut the next person in line's hair... Do they not want/need tips? This was a nightmare. Don't go here unless you have NOTHING to do and nowhere to go. Actually, just don't go here. They're unprofessional, slow and rude.
