  • This was my second try here. My first experience was just ok. We are talking Scottsdale folks, where the affluent like to romp and play. And this place has the pampering vibe.(Hate to admit I'm a bit of a princess). We had reservations, the check in process was smooth, the inventory on hand is really great! Lots of tactical gear~ makes me wish I had spent all that time other places...5.11 labels, female conceal carry wardrobe (horrible girdle type- in 120 degree weather here not my favorite idea), and yoga pants that have built in spots to carry. Yes yoga pants. Scottsdale, remember? If my butt looked good in that I would be all over that! You get to hear the looped video of info for the new people run on repeat. But somehow not annoying (says the girl who doesn't work there). Excellent bathroom (yeah I have to check that out), and of course new and used toys to delight the eyes and devastate the wallet- well ok, I did see some great prices. Like better than other specialty shops I've been to. Truth is I've never liked Scottsdale bc of the coldness. I like Ahwatukee way better. But... reeling it in, staff we're super nice, knowledgeable, respectful and attentive. So yeah. I'm won over and might - gasp- consider a membership here. Although it's a good 30+ minute drive from me...Worth it I think.
