| - I used to take my family and friends from out of town (usually California) to Pho Annie on a regular basis (like from 2012 to 2016). During the early days, my best friend and I would get pissed off waiting on food, but then when it finally came (I typically got pho dac biet and she got the pork and egg roll bun), the food would be so amazing and we'd be like, "Well the wait was totally worth it!"
Fast forward a few years of amazing food, and friendly service (we love Annie btw... such a nice and hard-working owner)... we had a friend come from Santa Monica, CA with their 3 year old daughter. They were staying at our place and we decided to go out for a celebratory dinner. I had my usual, pho dac biet, and everyone got egg rolls and chicken fried rice.
Something was wrong with the fried rice because when we got home, everyone except me threw up. I was so sad, because #1 I love Annie, #2 this place was my go-to place for family and friend events. I had to post this because I want people to be safe and I want Pho Annie to get better, back to where it was when I came to eat at least twice a week. I heard ownership changed, so please make it as good as it was before, with fresh meat, bouncy noodles, and sophisticated light broth.
I want to come back and give this place more stars.
