  • One of my go-to pubs in Montreal (because there isn't a lot in this town - it's more bars). This place is great on a Summer day, sitting out the back in the enclosed courtyard with plenty of shade and a few (too many) beers. It's always busy, but I've always managed to squeeze a few tables together and fit everyone in. I haven't really bothered going much in the colder months - there is an indoor section, but it doesn't seem to be too big. Looking at the other reviews, it sounds like they have upstairs seating, but I've never been there - the courtyard is the place to be.
