| - I took my 2012 carrera in for first annual, or 15000 km, service. Oil change and tire balancing and some other services were performed for $700. From my understanding it all came out to decent price and they didn't perform unneeded services to rip me off. My car was squeaky clean when it went in thanks to my friend's fine detail job and it came out the same condition it was brought as dealer did not mess up my pristine interior.
I also complained about issues like worn out window sill, rattles, improperly bolted driver seat and funky smell in ac. The seat was fixed but now it squeaks! They replaced the window sill but now there's wind noise at highway speed, which is annoying as I would have just lived with worn out sill even though it may leak in the rain. And there still is terrible smell in ac, will have to bring the car back. Click click noise in the dash - I fixed it myself with duct tape. It was expected to take too much time and I didn't want them to take my new car apart just yet possibly risking damages to the interior trims, so I told them not to bother with it, so I will probably go back later.
Do yourself a favour and get tire insurance. These thin tires are literally painted on the wheels, and they are so fragile! Porsche doesn't patch tires, and these tires cost too much.
My service advisor was kind and patient. He even found out my brake sensor was not working properly, which he fixed under warranty.
