  • At Stage AE last night, I caught power pop metal princes Cheap Trick in concert for the very first time and had a sweat-soaked singalong blast. Two months ago it was the shock-rock duo of Alice Cooper and Marilyn Manson that captivated my eyes and ears through horrific, vaudevillian spectacle. The day after my birthday, Coheed and Cambria dazzled my senses with their genre-bending, sci-fi mini-epics. Be it indoors or outdoors, Stage AE remains one innovative, utilitarian, and all-'round phenomenal venue that has busted the concert scene in Pittsburgh open wide. Stop depriving yourself.
