  • Major update...Craft Beer here! I had a meeting with the owners of this place 1/30/12. Could it be true that they want to be a positive part of downtown redevelopment? It looks like that could be the case. Stay tuned. This could be one of the more unique markets in the valley for neighbors and tourists alike. They already have eliminated a pay phone which was a haven for crack deals, and they have added a limited supply of product that does not cater to the local crack head, including but not limited to one of the best selection of craft beers in the area. If you are looking for something different from the piss water that is offered by Anheuser-Busch or Miller, visit here. You can find a limited supply of produce, and they have made a concentrated effort to curb the negative clientele that has plagued that place for years. Bells Market has a ways to go for sure to become a truly positive force in this redeveloping area, but this could turn out to be a quintessential neighborhood market. Stop in and see the changes they have made.
