First of all they have one of the nicest facilities I've been to and I am sure they are extremely busy with the amount of staff and technology they have. With that said. I have to say that when I attended the seminar the Dr. did not show to speak instead it was one of the staff who had the surgery. Second when I wanted to move forward I asked if they work with Cigna an their (Blossom Bariatric) response is we work with them all the time. So I set up my appointment to the Warm Springs Office and had the initial consultation. When it came to meet with the financial office Rosie said that they do not work with Cigna and I would just be able to get a discounted price. I asked why wasn't I told this when I asked and she said it is complicated and its best to do it in person. By then I already had paid my $50.00 office fee. So Rosie gave me the discounted price and I countered offered and she said it will be a few days before she can give me an answer. I said well I need to make a decision if not the office visit is not refundable. She said that in my case I can decide when the office calls me accept or decline my offer of cash payment, and if I decided no my money would be returned. 1 week later I get call and gave me the cash price. At that point I decided to NOT MOVE FORWARD WITH BLOSSOM. The $50.00 office visit was not refunded to me and I received a bill for $199.00 for test that was included with the visit. After multiple calls with the office in Utah and speaking to Wendy and Ashley nothing was done.To me it shows Blossom is a factory trying to get the most surgeries done even if it means not being straightforward with patients. They do surgeries all the time and its routine, but one thing I felt when I walked in was that I was only another individual. By the way your check for $199.00 has been mailed to you. I had my procedure done at another Dr. and the difference is night and day.
