Looking for apathetic attitudes, crowds(kinda more like a wait without a crowd), and subpar sushi? This is your place. After hearing rave reviews from colleagues and friends I decided to give Pisces a try for a quick lunch.
Walked in around 12:00 and was told there was a wait for at table despite half to the place being empty. Happily sat at the bar to avoid the seemingly unexplainable wait. Ordered the AYCE sushi because why not? Well I will tell you why not...the rolls are poorly constructed. I get serving in half orders to cut down on waste, but the rolls are really small and the rice to filling ratio is very clearly off to cut costs. Was kind of confused by their menu as there were a lot of options with Mango asked the waitress about it and she just shrugged and gave some sarcastic quip. I was genuinely interested about the mango and if the place was going for a fusion vibe, but clearly the bartender didn't seem interested in answering questions.
The service only went down hill from there, the bartender was surprisingly never behind the bar, thus making refills and a reorder basically impossible. Literally had to flag her down from across the restaurant. To make matters worse I could hear a male staff member making remarks about the appearance of a patron to another staff member, not the place or time.
