I purchased a used car here a year ago. On the day I took delivery, I noticed that the surfaces of the brake rotors were rusted. Both the salespeople and techs assured me that it was just some surface rust from the car sitting in the lot, and reminded me that I could bring it back and have it fixed under warranty if it were an issue. After driving for a few days, the rust was still there so I brought it back. The technicians again assured me that the brakes worked fine and were safe to drive with. They said that there was nothing they could do about it under warranty since the brakes worked, and would pass any safety inspection. As fate would have it, I later moved to another province and needed a government safety inspection to have the car registered. The brakes did not pass inspection due to a seized brake caliper. This would explain the perpetually rusted brake rotor. The cost to replace the calipers, rotors and pads on the one axle (minimum needed to pass inspection) was $600.
Part of the purchase agreement was that for $500 they would fix the existing scratches in the car's paint. There was a particularly large scrape in the rear bumper but instead of repainting it, they sprayed just the scratched area. The paint did not match well - see the posted picture.
My experience seems somewhat similar to some of the other negative reviews here and on other review sites. Based on that I would first try the other Honda dealerships in Toronto.
