The dark, romantic feel of this restaurant makes for an enchanted evening... if you have a loved one of course.
I'll start by saying I would give 5 stars but I don't like that I can't make reservations otherwise get stuck awkwardly waiting to be seated because the bar is full as well. Perhaps that's a me problem.
Regardless, I love this place. It has the feel of a speakeasy but serves delicious food. And there's a very cool bar downstairs which is my preference to be seated.
We sat at the bar in the upstairs unit and had the most attentive and sweet bartender. She never faltered even though she was busy as hell. We ordered past martinis from her that were so delightful followed by an order of calamari. They had a slight peppered flavor which made them that much better.
For entrees, I ordered a special of the branzino with green chili potato and brussel sprouts which didn't disappoint. My other half ordered the pork chop (ewe. Not a fan of pork)... with mash potatoes and brocolini. He bragged of that. I so look forward to coming back. I just hope we get a spot in the mysterious downstairs basement next time!
