  • Went for the first time last week with the family. Prior visit was packed. It's a small parking lot, too. There were not a ton of choices of flavors, which is a good thing, as far as I'm concerned. They had chocolate, vanilla and a flavor of the day. They were selling quarts of other flavors though. Then you could get their version of a blizzard (a twister I think), shakes, sundaes, smoothies, etc. Service was what you'd expect from a typical ice cream store, about average. Although I must say that Handel's employees are a cut above most. Anyway, I got vanilla and it was very good...creamy and sweet. The kids got twisters (vanilla with Oreo) and they really liked them. My wife was less impressed with her vanilla and said she preferred Handels. Price was reasonable, although the portion size was a bit small. Again, Handels really piles it on! Overall, I would recommend and go back.
