update-I decided to give zoom room another chance. mostly because its cold out and my dog needs exercise. I must say, once you find the right class, i love them! i feel like I am learning and the classes don't feel boring. and i still love the flexibility of being able to skip a week and go back in without loosing a pass as you would with most trainers 6wk session approach.
it really depends on the trainer. some are really knowledgable, some just let the dogs go through the agility obstacles without much direction or correction at all. just a playground. I won't bother with obedience classes here, they are very basic even for the intermediate level. For both agility and obedience, they are not a rotation i.e. 6-wk you end up repeating a lot of the work if a new dog comes in. of course the bright side of that is that you pay for the classes you attend, if you miss a week you are not paying for that week.
I may try some of the workshops (6wk series) next time but i don't know if 25mins sessions in a group setting can accomplish much.
